We spent most of our three-week stay in February by the pool, where Kit was always ready to help us get settled and bring clean towels. My husband uses a wheelchair, and whenever getting around became difficult, the staff did everything they could to help. Mr. Phong helped us use the ramp at the back whenever we went to a restaurant and when we came back. We’re grateful to everyone for making it such a lovely memory. The hotel is peaceful despite being close to restaurants and shops, and the staff were all helpful and very friendly.

The location was just right for exploring. The night market is only a few minutes away on foot, and the lantern boats and tailor shops are about a 20-minute walk. This was my first time staying at the Emerald Riverside resort, though I'd visited lovely Hoi An twice before and enjoyed another resort. I really fell for this property. The staff across food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, the spa, and front desk went out of their way to greet guests and chat. Tuan at reception was especially helpful with all my questions, including plenty of silly ones. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Vietnam in 2027.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of choice and excellent food. The staff there remembered us each morning and what we liked, and even noticed when we missed breakfast for an early tour. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. We spent six nights here and had a large, comfortable room. The Emerald Hoi An Riverside Resort is close to both the night market and Old Town, yet far enough away that the noise didn't reach us. We'd definitely return and recommend it.

We made good use of the free bikes to see the nearby area and the beach, and only wished we could have stayed longer. The pool was a nice place to unwind after walking around the old town, and breakfast had both Vietnamese and Western choices. Our room was lovely, especially the balcony where we had morning coffee with river views. The river and old town are an easy walk away, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. What stood out most was how welcoming everyone was, from the gardener and restaurant staff to the manager. The manager also pointed us toward some good quality places to have shoes and clothes made.

We really enjoyed the breakfast, and the staff were friendly. The room and bathroom were very spacious, and there was a lovely pool. Although the old town is within walking distance, the hotel sits far enough from the crowds and noise to make for a calm, relaxing holiday.
