Fig Tree Boutique Villa

We spent two weeks at Fig Tree, and the staff were lovely, especially the woman at reception. They were always up for a chat about what we'd been doing and happy to arrange things, from transfers and tours to massages. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh fruit, several choices, and fresh Vietnamese coffee. The room had good air conditioning, and the shower and toilet were really nice. WiFi and laundry were good too. Highly recommend, 10/10 😇

The owner was really helpful with town tips, bus tickets, and laundry, and the place is in a good location with no noise. I had a balcony room that was clean and comfortable, and the WiFi was good. Breakfast was very good too, and the swimming pool was perfect. Highly recommended.

This was my second time at Fig Tree Boutique Villa. I remember the breakfast being very good when I was here two years ago, though I didn't have it on this stay. The pool area is a lovely place to hang out even if you don't swim, and the free bicycles gave me new ways to explore this year. I rode to the beach one day and crossed the river south of town another. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location works perfectly for getting to the beach, Old Town, restaurants, and other services. The rooms and building are well maintained. You can tell they take pride in their service.

The rooms are spacious, and the whole villa is pretty. I liked the quieter location away from the busy areas, with a nail salon and wet market nearby. Free bikes are available, though walking to Old Town takes about 30 minutes. The free breakfast was good, and the staff were reachable and communicative most of the time, except around midnight. They worked hard to make my stay go well. When I complained about my room, they quickly moved me to a cleaner one and helped carry my things. The gate is locked each evening, which made the place feel safe. I visited in June, when the weather wasn't cooperating. There were power interruptions now and then, including at night. During the day they were bearable, but at night I couldn't handle it. There's no flashlight in the room or generator at the villa. I know the weather-related outages weren't the hotel's fault. If the weather had been nice, I'd probably give it five stars.
