FIRST Studio Hotel Da Nang

We were four friends staying for five days and four nights in a two-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was especially handy because we could cook our own meals, which suited us as Muslims. The hotel is in the city, so getting around and reaching nearby attractions was easy. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the price was affordable for the facilities. We had a wonderful time in Da Nang and would definitely recommend it to friends and families traveling in groups.

We only needed somewhere for a quick layover, but even for that this was a bad stay. The room was nothing special, though I guess you get what you pay for. At noon we arrived, two hours before check-in, and the receptionist was extremely passive. She told us to come back at 14h and seemed not to care what we planned to do or whether we wanted recommendations. She didn't even mention that we could leave our luggage at the hotel. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were friendly and ready to help, and getting around from this convenient location was easy. The facilities are well equipped and meet professional hotel standards. I'd definitely return on another trip. A must-stay for a holiday.

Mr. Son turned a terrible situation around for my daughter and me. When he came on shift, he recognized us, apologized, found us another room for the night, arranged a refund, and gave us snacks since we hadn't eaten all day. Before that, we'd waited more than two hours to check in on February 5, while the young female receptionist offered no updates or sense of urgency. Our prepaid, non-refundable booking left us feeling stuck, especially as we relied on a translator because of the language barrier. The room smelled awful when we finally saw it, and the receptionist wouldn't help or refund us. I was so overwhelmed I started crying. We'd stayed at First Studio Hotel before and returned because Mr. Son had given us great service, so this was especially frustrating. He deserves real recognition, but no guest should be treated as we were.
