Four Points by Sheraton Danang

The roof pool looked lovely, but it hardly got any sun, so we couldn't spend the time there we'd planned. The photo shows the 15 minutes I managed to sit by it. A chair on the balcony, or one we could move out there, would have helped us enjoy that space more. Even with those little letdowns, this was easily our most comfortable stay in Vietnam. The staff and service were fabulous, breakfast had an incredible range, and the room was super comfortable with a roomy bathroom and shower. At the end of My Khe beach, it was close to everything without feeling right on top of it. I still highly recommend the hotel.

Houng, the loyalty manager, was exceptional and genuinely warm, as was the whole staff. The breakfast mixed East and West, with so many tasty choices. Upstairs, the rooftop pool and bar had over 100 craft beers, more than we saw anywhere else, at competitive prices. The elevators were slow. To get to the beach, you cross the street and walk about a block to rent a chair and towel for 40 dong, around $1.50. It's an easy, pleasant short walk along the beach.

The Eatery stood out for its spotless, spacious dining room and beautifully arranged setup. The food was delicious, nicely presented, and offered plenty of choice. The breakfast buffet was varied and better than I expected for quality. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well maintained. My room was fresh, tidy, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and quick to help. The longest elevator wait I had was three minutes, though most times it was under a minute. A wonderful place for business or leisure, and I'd choose it again next time.

The rooftop pool and bar have great views, although the pool gets a little crowded at busy times. I also often had to wait for an elevator, so the lift system could use some work. Breakfast had a decent range, but vegetarian and Indian choices were limited. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and the staff were polite and helpful without hovering. My room was clean, spacious, and well kept, with a comfortable bed and a nice sea view. Housekeeping did a consistent job each day. The location near My Khe Beach was excellent for morning walks and evening strolls.
