Restaurants and vinmart are close by, along with two gyms. The cheaper one, at 40000dong, is three blocks away. My room was cleaned and the bed made every day, but I didn't use the small pool. The receptionist never said hello and only asked for my passport. That was our whole conversation, and it didn't feel very polite.

The place was old and dirty, and smelled of smoke despite the no-smoking signs. Noisy guests woke me repeatedly during the night. I reported it to the staff, but they didn't bother addressing it. Some of the noises I heard overnight made me think this was a sex "hotel".

The staff were so kind and friendly, and they did a great job cleaning the room. It was good value, but we were really disappointed that the pool wasn't usable. It was filthy, covered in algae, and had cigarettes floating in it, so swimming in it could have made anyone sick. We asked the nice receptionist to turn the pool on. She tried to help, but management told her she couldn't. It seemed they did turn it on the next day for Vietnamese guests staying there, but that didn't fix the algae.

The staff were lovely and did everything they could to make us happy. Our room was huge, with a nice balcony, and housekeeping kept the towels and bedsheets very clean. The location made it easy to get around. We've stayed at a lot of hotels in Da Nang, and this is our favourite so far. Love you all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, though the rooms looked a little dated and didn't quite match the pictures on Google. I still haven't found the pool :)
