Gold Summer 2 Hotel

This was my experience, and the photos made the place look much better than it was. The window panes were dirty, the bed sagged with all the irons visible, and I ended up sleeping on the couch. The sheets smelled as if they hadn’t been changed. Light switches, doors, handles, glasses, and the terrace were dirty, and the fan and bathroom extractor had months of dust on them. The couch had cigarette holes, the fridge was dirty inside and out, and the TV had no channels. The extractor had no outlet tube and was caked with grease. The living room table was taped together and dirty. The bathroom smelled of urine, with a yellow and black toilet bowl I had to clean myself, and a rotten water door. The nightstand light was missing half of it and its bulb was burned out. There were cockroaches.

The photos are a lie. The room was just okay at best, with dirty closets, faulty air conditioning, and no amenities. The receptionist wasn’t there. Money was taken from me and my friends, and housekeeping threw away my friend’s family Polaroid, calling it “trash”. Never again. Don’t go here. If you’re extremely short on money and only need to get through the night, make this your last choice.

The room had a beach view, and the owner was welcoming and cordial. They let us check in early. It could definitely have been tidier, but you get what you pay for.

I was waiting for morning so I could leave. There were cockroaches, no windows, no AC controller, and it wasn’t very clean. The room smelled like someone had died in it, and a blood spot in the toilet made me think someone had definitely died there. For 180000 it wasn’t so bad, but it shouldn’t cost more.
