It was an enjoyable stay. The rooms were comfortable, though a little noisy, and it was easy to walk into the city center. They also offer motorbike rentals. A nice place to stay when visiting Hoi An.

The breakfast was fantastic, easily the best I had in six weeks in Asia. There was fresh fruit, eggs, a choice of Western or Vietnamese food, and a different treat each day I was there. Do yourself a favour and order it. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nice, and the staff were really friendly, kind, and helpful. This is a really good hotel.

The lady at reception made us comfortable and helped arrange a late checkout. The staff were so kind, and the location is great, just a short walk from Hoi An old quarter. I had an amazing experience at the Hai Yen Hotel and will stay here again when I come back to Hoi An.

This was the worst smelling hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The mold and urine odor in the room was so pungent I could feel it in my lungs. It can’t be safe, and the hotel should be shut down. Having it operating in this condition is absolutely inexcusable.
