The island was peaceful, and the place faced the sea. Our host was the best. We also ate there every evening, and she cooked herself. She ordered the fish or seafood we wanted directly from a fisherman, freshly caught that day.

We didn’t actually stay here, but I’m so glad we booked a hammock. We’d planned to spend just one night on Cham island before flying out of da nang the next day. Lyn called us in advance to say there wouldn’t be any boats the following day, which saved us from getting stuck on the island. The other hotel we’d booked hadn’t told us anything, so we really appreciated this homestay keeping us informed.

The homestay was clean, and the owner was friendly and helpful. She also runs a restaurant a minute away, with fresh pastries for breakfast and a full menu of Western and Vietnamese food. They take card payments, which was a big help since I’d brought very little cash to the island. There’s no way to withdraw cash on the island.

The owner makes a lovely breakfast, especially the banana pancakes, which I highly recommend. The rooms are lovely too. A beautiful homestay and a wonderful place to stay in Cham Islands.

Our host was lovely and pointed us to the best beach spots. We rented a scooter from them, and they also found us a place on a snorkeling boat. The rooms were clean and tidy, with air conditioning, and laundry service was available too. Highly recommend!
