Hoi An Eco Lodge & Spa

We spent about five days here to explore Hoi An, but by the end we were enjoying the hotel more than the city. The team's care made a real difference. Every morning at breakfast, someone asked how we were, whether we needed anything, and what they could improve. It never felt scripted. They seemed to genuinely care and kept trying to make our stay better. Breakfast was tasty, varied, and high quality, the kind you look forward to. We loved relaxing by the pool with the delicious, varied cocktails. We ate at the restaurant too, and the food was excellent, well cooked and full of flavor. I'm especially partial to their pho, but there was plenty to choose from and everything we tried was exquisite. The hotel was comfortable and relaxing, and easy to get around from by bike. We could reach the old town, An Bang beach, the rice fields, and other spots around Hoi An without any stress. It was a genuinely memorable stay, and we'd absolutely come back.

The Eco Lodge is gorgeous, with a rainforest feel and three beautiful pools. Staff were incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. One small thing that could be better: a few more vegetarian or vegan choices on the menu or at breakfast.

The spa and its facilities were beautiful. On our last day I finally booked the Tula Signature Massage, and wished I hadn't left it so late. It was honestly the best massage I've ever had!!!! My masseuse put in a lot of effort and brought together lots of different elements perfectly. Truly fantastic, thank you so much!! The hotel itself was amazing too. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. The design was beautiful, the place spacious and peaceful, and we slept extremely well. The hard-working staff were exceptionally friendly. Our room was very clean, and breakfast was truly excellent.

We first booked 5 nights, then asked reception straight away if we could stay longer. We managed to extend to 7 nights, and I'd happily have stayed two weeks if we hadn't already made plans in HCMC. The reception staff were welcoming and service minded from the start, and handled everything smoothly, including our extension. The hotel is a little outside the touristy part of Hoi An, which we really liked. We borrowed the free bikes every day. At a slow pace, the ride to Old Town takes about 15 minutes, along little lanes by the river and through rice fields. Those rides made our time in Hoi An even more special. Our room was so nice, huge and roomy, nicely furnished, clean, and smelling fresh. The bed was very good. The restaurant food was really nice and it's open from 10 am until 10 pm. Some of the best fresh spring rolls I've had in all 4 weeks in Vietnam. Breakfast was alright, not my favourite, though it's hard to cater to everyone's needs. The wifi was a bit inconsistent and slow, so that could be improved. The whole stay felt perfect, and if I go back to Hoi An I'll definitely stay here again. I'd give 10 stars if I could 🫶🏼
