Galaxy Hotel Nha Trang

I booked a room with two beds and kitchen items, including pots, pans, and a rice cooker, and contacted the hotel to confirm. They didn’t answer my Agoda inquiries, so I had to call their mobile number. That meant there was no record of the arrangement. The room I got was VERY SMALL and didn’t match the pictures. There was no rice cooker, and it had a DOUBLE BED even though I’d booked and confirmed two SINGLE BEDS. They said I could change rooms the next day, after I’d slept one night of my two-night booking. But after that night, they said “NO CHANGES SUPPORTED,” as if I was asking them for a favor. They gave me the wrong room, didn’t apologize, and treated me badly. I paid 275k VND for one night and got a discount as a VIP member, though I’m not sure it was real. I also asked for an extra half-day, an external transaction, so I can’t blame the app. Both times they quoted 130k VND. At checkout they demanded 330k VND and said, “THAT’S NOT THE PRICE, someone else said that, not a hotel employee.” So was someone random answering customers at reception? How can a half-day cost more than a full day after quoting 130k VND? Stop being so greedy. This is a hotel, not a plane ticket office!

The apartment was very satisfactory for the reasonable price. It’s centrally located but quiet, close to the night market and places to eat. There’s a small kitchen in the room, which is handy for cooking. I’d come back if I get the chance to visit Nha Trang again.

The staff were cheerful and enthusiastic, and the room was clean, spacious, and airy. It’s beside the night market and close to the square and the sea. I’d come back!
