Hoianoi Villa

The host was amazing and really looked after us. This spacious, multistorey villa had plenty of rooms for our family to enjoy Hoi An, and the service, laundry, and facilities were well taken care of each day. Some parts of the rooms felt run down, though. The bathroom layout sent water splashing everywhere, and our towels wouldn’t dry, which was frustrating. It’s a bit of a walk into the old city, and the muddy, unmade roads need some planning. There isn’t much nearby, but Grab delivery worked perfectly well. I’d highly recommend it, just keep in mind it isn’t a five-star hotel.

We rented the whole villa for our family of 11 and had a nice Christmas together under one roof. The host was great and very helpful, and each room had free Wi-Fi and bottled water. My bed was comfortable, but the shower wasn’t centered over the bathtub, so water splashed everywhere. Some towels were old and worn, and my room smelled a little damp. I was told that was because of the recent floods.

Mai made us feel so welcome, helped us make the most of our time in Hoi An, and cooked a delicious breakfast each morning. The villa is a special, beautiful place that feels peaceful as soon as you walk in. It’s away from the tourist center, but easy to reach on foot, by bike, or by taxi. We’d definitely book again when we return to Hoi An. Thanks for everything, Mai!

Mai was thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay, and her recommendations for local contacts and food were fantastic. Hoianoi Villa is a lovely home with beautiful views from the higher rooms and across the rooftop. There’s plenty of space for a large group to relax and spend time together. The service went beyond what we asked for, and we couldn’t recommend the place more.
