I arrived and left within 15 minutes. The bathroom was outdated and had a strong, stuffy smell of mold and sewage, so the room felt unsanitary. I couldn’t see myself staying there for a week. The listing photos showed a window, but it was blocked by a wall just inches away. That should have been advertised as a window with no view. The room was also much smaller than the pictures made it look. Photos and video attached. The hotel staff may be kind people, but this was a very disappointing personal experience. Agoda deleted my review. When I contacted them about the Cuong Thinh Homestay review, they attached a previous hotel I’d stayed at, which had been absolutely fine, in order to respond. Screenshot attached. Agoda and the hotel refused a full refund. My tips: try Expedia or Trip.com for better customer service. There are other budget hotels in the area with better accommodation at similar prices. And don’t assume reviews on booking sites will stay up, since they can delete them. Google and Tripadvisor are more reliable.

The location made our stay easy, close to the night market and old town, but somehow still very quiet. The room was excellent and comfortable. The family gave us a really warm welcome and helped us book a bus, rent bicycles and motorbikes, and get laundry done. They also shared great recommendations. Such sweet hosts, we felt at home the whole time.

We booked a tour through the homestay with no trouble, and staying longer was easy too. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. A beautiful place, with a genuinely lovely host who was always keen to help. Thanks for everything! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Phuong was a lovely, friendly host, and my friend and I had a great stay. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a nice bathroom. It’s close to everything we needed. Phuong can arrange tours, buses, or taxis, and she was flexible about extending our stay. She even refreshed the room while we were there. Great value, please support this lovely business :)

The family were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean with AC that worked perfectly. It’s just outside the town center, so it was very quiet, though the center is an easy walk. They offer room cleaning if you want it. Bikes cost 25k per day, and they can arrange tours and bus connections. We took the coconut boat tour through the hostel and thought we got a very good deal. Laundry is 25k per kilo.
