Ivy Villa

Nam, the receptionist and host, was one of the best hosts we’ve had. He spoke very good English, knew loads about local activities and places to go, and booked everything for us without making anything feel like too much trouble. We stayed five nights, breakfast included, and the fresh breakfast was lovely. It was amazing value for money. We’d definitely stay again if we return to Hoi An.

The manager at reception went above and beyond. He helped us with everything from information and activities to great ideas for local restaurants. Our room was clean and nice, and breakfast was fresh and lovely every morning. We had an amazing stay, highly recommend!

The rooms were really beautiful and clean, the staff were friendly, breakfast was fresh, and the location was great. It’s a shame the pool was practically unusable. Major construction was happening on the building right next to it, only 50 cm away, bringing noise and dust throughout our stay. Workers could look straight into the pool area, and there was no screen or barrier for privacy. The hotel hadn’t told us about the work in advance. When we raised it with staff, they said they’d already suggested a privacy screen to the owner, but nothing had been installed. It was disappointing that management ignored the issue at guests’ expense. Without that construction problem, this would’ve been a dream hotel. Everything else was wonderful, but the lack of privacy and disruption ruined the relaxing atmosphere we expected.

Breakfast was great each day, with a menu to choose from, and there were free bicycles too. The staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. Nam at the front desk was especially helpful and efficient, arranging our tours, transportation, and laundry.
