I spent a month here in Hoi An and can’t recommend it highly enough. The family hosting is just as lovely as the beautiful grounds. Uyen speaks wonderful english and is very helpful with arranging whatever you need. Breakfast is offered daily, and it’s both very good and very very affordable. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, and cleaned every day. The location is perfect, on a lovely street among the rice paddy fields between Ancient Town and the beach. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and the neighborhood has some of the best cafes in Hoi An, maybe all of Vietnam. This is where I’ll stay everytime I’m in Hoi An.

The spot works really well for cycling through the fields, and the beach and old town are easy to reach too. My family loved our time at La Uy. The owner's family made us feel so welcome with their thoughtful, lovely service, and the whole place has a charming, relaxing feel. My family, especially my Western husband, would happily stay here for good. It’s definitely worth experiencing.
