LIS Hotel

The staff were so nice. They gave directions when I asked where to go and shared restaurant information. The rooms look like the pictures, and you can walk to Mike beach ^^. I got sick on the first day, but someone took a motorcycle and brought me to a pharmacy. The open bus to Hoi An costs 8,000 dong. Thanks to this hotel, I had a comfortable trip. Recommended ^ ^

The hotel is very recent, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and bathroom. It’s less than a 20 minute walk from a busy avenue full of restaurants and shops, and the beach is also walkable. But when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, it doesn’t even deserve one star. We stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor, what they call the 4th floor, with no outside window. There was a glass window facing the shared hallway, so even with the curtain closed, light from the corridor came in all night. The walls are paper thin, so every sound carries. You hear a sharp beep whenever someone gets on or off the elevator, and even the reception phone ringing from our floor. How restful is that? This hotel isn’t suitable if you want a good night’s sleep.

For one night, it was okay given the low price, but the room had mold, a damp smell and no window. When we asked to move, they showed us the deluxe rooms, but those were moldy too and smelled bad.

We felt really welcome at this cute little hotel. It was cozy and clean, with friendly, helpful staff who took good care of us. Free bicycles are available, motorbikes can be rented, and restaurants are within walking distance.
