The room was spacious, with a desk, a large wardrobe, and a reasonably nice street view. But getting there was bizarre: reception is in a hotel called Nami Stay (did the name change? What happened?), while the room is in a separate building next door. You have to walk through Lucia Private Fitness, an active gym where people are lifting weights around you. No joke. 😂 Noise was the biggest problem. Rooms on my floor were still being renovated, there was ongoing construction outside the window, and around 8 a.m. every morning people, likely hotel staff, gathered just outside my door and talked loudly as if they were at a market. Asking them to quiet down did no good. It felt completely disrespectful to guests. There was no fridge or toilet paper in the room, and payment was cash only. In 2026, that seems ridiculous. The place felt improvised and poorly managed, with little concern for basic comfort. The name is confusing too: Sea Beside Me? Miami Beach? Haya Hotel? It appears under several names on booking sites, though it's the same property. Booking a room shown in the photos doesn't guarantee you'll get it. More often than not, I was told the room was "already taken" and given an inferior one, often with a very small window.

I booked weeks ahead and told the hotel I'd arrive around 3:00 a.m. The day before, they emailed to ask when I would arrive, so I sent my first message again. At around 4 a.m., the fitness center security guard, at a place advertised on Agoda as a hotel but actually a fitness centre, walked me to the hotel next door. They said I wasn't there, then the person pulled the covers over his head and went back to sleep. I was left wandering the streets of Danang looking for a hotel with a 24-hour front desk. Luckily, a man named Tram at the EC Luxury hotel helped me. They had no room, but he spent 30 minutes calling hotels nearby and found me somewhere for the night. I finally slept around 5:30. When I woke, this hotel had cancelled my four-day reservation, with no apology or explanation. Avoid this property at all costs.

A nice place, around three minutes from the beach. Our room on the 6st floor had a balcony and sea view, though only some rooms do. Plenty of restaurants nearby, so there's a good choice of places to eat. In November '18, the rate was about 300k per night, and you could get a discount with a booking "genius" badge.

Helpful, friendly receptionist and nice service. My Khe beach, the biggest beach in Da Nang, is only a few minutes' walk away. The hotel is clean and very close to the beach.
