The room change made all the difference. My first room felt damp, smelled of citronella, and the dark hallways added to the cold feeling I got when I checked in. I’d booked for the resort atmosphere, but maybe the place seemed quiet because there weren’t many people around, which was actually good. I spoke with the front desk, and Thao did more than move me, she upgraded me. The new room was spacious, sunny, and wonderful, and it really lifted my mood. The view is nice, the pool is big, and the area is peaceful with an ocean breeze. The jacuzzi in the room didn’t seem to work, though.

The hotel is clean, the staff are lovely, and breakfast has something for everyone. It’s great value for money, close to lovely beaches and good restaurants. The old town is only a cheap taxi ride away, and you can use the Grab app. Some older reviews are very misleading. A few of those reviewers could have been a little happier to have survived COVID and be on holiday in paradise.

A peaceful place to relax, with a good location near the beach. All the staff were accommodating and helpful during our stay, especially Ms. Thảo Trần, who was always there when customers needed something. I’d definitely recommend the place to my friends. Peace!

The rooms were clean, staff were generally pleasant, and the location worked well. For the price, it’s a decent place with a comfortable bed and a good enough breakfast. You get about what you pay for. The Wi-Fi, though, is a serious problem. It cuts out all the time, and when it connects, it’s painfully slow. That made simple work tasks frustrating, including joining a video call or sending a document. This matters if you need to stay productive, not just browse for fun. And it doesn’t seem to be a new problem. Older reviews mention the same failures, while management keeps replying with apologies and promises of future improvements. I didn’t see any sign that the connection had actually been upgraded. If you’re a digital nomad or need dependable internet, I’d think twice about booking until they sort it out.
