Oleander Garden Homestay

I booked an overnight bus through this homestay and it was honestly the worst experience of my life. We were told to arrive at 4:30 pm for a 5 pm departure, but didn’t get on the bus until around 9 pm. The owner gave us no communication at all. A complete waste of money. If you need a reliable, honest company for an overnight bus, don’t book through them.

The balcony was my favorite part, and the place itself was so peaceful. Mrs Bi and her family were warm, helpful, and accommodating. Our room matched the photos, was clean, and had everything my family and I needed. Breakfast was included and really tasty. I also liked having a money changer and tour options there. I’d stay again if I return to Hoi An. 🤩

Bi and her family made us feel at home, always waving when they saw us come in. Her brother made breakfast with eggs, coffee, and fruit. The room was spacious and had its own balcony, though the bathroom’s high window was hard to reach when we needed to open or close it. Bi also has a tailor shop and a massage place across the street; we tried the massage and got a 20% discount because we were staying at the hotel. She can arrange airport pickup and drop-off to Danang, about a 30 min ride, for less than Grab. The hotel was very nice, but the hospitality was what really stood out. Book it now.

We planned on staying two nights, then added four more. The host family are so friendly, and that made the stay much nicer. The rooms are large and clean. It’s easy to bike into the old town, there’s good local food nearby, and a pool hall right across the street if that’s your thing. Highly recommend.
