The location is great, but I won’t give them more than one star, and even that feels generous. There were ants everywhere, and the staff were too busy playing video games to help. They were incredibly rude. The owner was the worst person I dealt with. He seemed miserable, nothing like the cheerful, lovely person described in the reviews. I also think the photos in many reviews are clearly photoshopped, and the reviews have to be fake. There’s nothing high-tech about the place. Maybe constant ants crawling around feels romantic to you, but it didn’t to me. I booked through an app and the room became non-refundable right away. That should’ve been my cue to leave. There are plenty of beautiful hotels nearby at the same price. Don’t bother with this one.

The receptionist, Nam, said the hotel wanted payment in advance and kept the customer’s ID card. It was really annoying. Everyone should stay away from this hotel.

The room was spacious and had an amazing view. The owner was lovely and enthusiastic, and even though I was only there for one night and two days, I had a fantastic experience. At a reasonable price, OYO 1181 TAY NGUYEN HOSTEL is a good place to rest and relax after sightseeing in Da Nang. I hope I get a chance to visit again and enjoy the space there.

It’s in a beautiful, safe spot near the beach and dining area, with fresh seafood nearby. The owner is friendly and cheerful. It was good, and I’ll come back next time.
