Oyo 473 Suburban Villa

The pool was empty when I arrived for my reservation. I waited an hour for someone to come to reception, then asked if I could cancel. They agreed and apologized, but later I got a message saying my card would still be charged. Very nice service, not. The pool is tiny anyway, so I wouldn't book here if you want a pool or friendly staff.

I was sorry to leave this lovely homestay. The village has a great atmosphere, and although it's close to the center, the area itself is quiet and peaceful. The owner is so kind, and there are bikes for guests.

We loved our stay, even with the empty pool and the screaming, sick chicken next door. The room was spacious and really nice, and the owner was smiley and helpful, though they don't speak English. Breakfast was simple, but we really liked the banana pancakes. The room wasn't cleaned during our five days there, but we got fresh towels without any trouble when we asked. It's a bit far from the old town, but bikes are available, even if they're pretty run down. The soundproofing isn't great, like everywhere in Asia.

The balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view. Everything in the room was kept neat and clean, and the whole place felt welcoming. It made for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
