OYO 564 Legend Connect Homestay

The first part of our stay was okay, though the sheets had stains and there was a dead cockroach on the floor. On our last night, a bat got into the room. It took a while to reach someone, and we were told the owner was coming, but the man who arrived was another hotel guest, not the owner. They didn’t believe us at first when we reported the bat and told us to contact them if we saw one, even though we’d already seen it in the room. About two hours later, around 1 a.m., we managed to show him the bat. He caught it and released it. We asked to move rooms because it had come through a gap by the ledge at the top of the room, and we weren’t comfortable with it getting in again. He said no, since he was only staying downstairs and couldn’t do that. For peace of mind, we stayed at another hotel around the corner. Online guidance said to leave the room and not return because bats may carry rabies. When we came back to check out, the staff said nothing could be done. No refund for the night and no sincere apology. I’d recommend staying somewhere else.

The hosts were courteous, and we felt at ease throughout our stay in Vietnam. Their suggestions were useful, and breakfast was [the source review ends here]. One small irritation was the room light flickering the first time we switched it on, though it wasn't a major problem.

After lots of hostel stays, I needed a good night's sleep, and this place worked well. The staff and rooms were lovely, and it was both quiet and central. I could walk about seven minutes to collect my tailored shoes the next day. I'd recommend it.

The reception staff member made the stay especially welcoming. She was kind and helpful. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a large, spotless bathroom. The location was perfect and the price was great. Highly recommended! 🌟
