The location was a real plus, close to cafes, restaurants, and My Khe beach, in a quiet area despite all the construction happening around DaNang. The staff spoke limited English, but everyone seemed keen to help. I’m guessing the apartments are individually owned, so another unit could be quite different. Our room was modern and in a new building, but very dark. The small balcony had a washing machine and looked straight at the neighboring apartment. The air conditioning only cooled. We had a waterproof bottom sheet and one blanket, and couldn’t explain the two-sheet arrangement we’re used to. Hot water was mostly fine, though it was only lukewarm on a couple of days. There was no pay TV, just a couple of old movie channels. The small kitchen had Asian utensils and chopsticks but no cutlery. It took some confusion before we got coffee mugs. There’s an indoor pool, though it seemed more like a water feature and we didn’t see anyone using it. We stayed seven nights and asked for clean towels once. The apartment wasn’t otherwise serviced. It might suit a night or two, but for a longer stay I’d look for somewhere with a view.
