Mimi and her family made our stay feel incredible. They even invited us to home-cooked local food, took us to the rice festival, and celebrated my birthday with us. They were so kind and went above and beyond, and before long they felt like family. The studio has modern amenities and a lovely kitchen where we could cook for ourselves. It's set among the rice fields, with a great view from the rooms. The location is between Old town and the beach, so either is a short scooter ride away, and Ba Le market is close too. We enjoyed chatting with other guests over the breakfast provided each day. Mimi is always smiling, welcoming, and happy to help arrange what you need. The place is quiet, peaceful, and clean. I highly recommend Mimi’s, and we'll be back!

Mimi and her family were very friendly, and their little chihuahua was sweet too. You can borrow pedal bikes to ride into town, including the back way through the rice paddies. The place has all the essentials: clean rooms, a nice view over the paddies, air con, a comfortable bed, and a full-size refrigerator. There's a small kitchen with a sink, hot plate, and cooking utensils. Eggs and toast were provided, and laundry is available on site.

The room on the second floor had a nice view and the basics were well stocked. Mimi and her family were welcoming, and she gave me free chicken eggs to cook and bought me breakfast. Bikes are free, though I'd suggest booking a Grab bike to get to the beach. I arrived when the padi fields were bare, and the heat was freakish. Just remember this is countryside, so huge cockroaches, lizards, and lots of mosquitoes are common.

The room was cleaned every day, and the air conditioner ran all the time, keeping the temperature steady at 20 degrees. Breakfast was free from the host, with eggs, bread, and mineral water, and enough to keep you going until lunch. We slept really well at Mimi and had a very good shower too. What more could you ask for? 😊😊😊
