Phuc Long Luxury Danang

The one thing we liked was the friendly staff. Otherwise, this stay felt off and left us disappointed. Our room was tiny, with no bathtub, even though we paid the same as at another hotel where we'd just stayed for two nights. The bed was extremely hard, and the table was dusty as soon as we checked in, like the room hadn't been cleaned properly. The air seemed unclean and had me coughing constantly. They also gave us worn, reused slippers that felt disgusting, as if loads of people had worn them. The photos online only seemed about 60-70% like the actual place. I can't say it was totally different, but the pictures and the number of reviews felt inflated, maybe even bought. For what we paid, other hotels with the same star rating offer much better value. We weren't satisfied, and it wasn't worth the money.

The room was spacious and spotless, and I really liked its simple but elegant look. We came to Phuc Long Luxury Hotel for my son's birthday, and they even surprised him with a complimentary cake. The staff were warm and friendly from booking right through checkout. Breakfast was a highlight for me, with a different menu each day. The facilities worked well for families, especially the Kids’ Club and pool. And the spa was absolutely the best. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

The location was fantastic, right across from the “Da Nang Beach” sign, with plenty of restaurants an easy walk away. We stayed in the luxury two-bedroom suite, which had a kitchen and living room. There was a Christmas tree set up and fresh fruit waiting for us when we arrived. Breakfast was the best, and the rooftop lounge/play area for kids was great. We were up there getting fresh juice all the time. We'd stay here again.

We came back to our 12th-floor room after dinner and tried to run a hot bath. The room had a beautiful bathtub and an ocean view, but only lukewarm water came out. I couldn't soak in that without getting cold, and the temperature wasn't suitable for a shower either. I reported it to reception. A technician said to give them 15 minutes to fix the preheating unit, then left. Twenty minutes later, the water was still the same. Reception explained the hot-water capacity was limited to 50 liters, far less than the bathtub holds. I'd booked expecting a good Vietnamese-owned hotel, but the experience fell well short of both my expectations and global standards. Very disappointing.
