Phương's house

We had a great stay with this lovely family. Lynn told us so much about Vietnamese culture, and even managed to find us a scooter during a really busy holiday period.

The owner was very helpful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning. The centre is only a few minutes away. You can rent bicycles or motorbikes here, and they quickly arranged a transfer for us to Tam Ky. We’d recommend staying here and would come back.

We slept better here than anywhere so far. The room stayed cool even with the air conditioning off, and it was spacious, with a big bed and a shower with great pressure. The laundry service was excellent too. There’s no breakfast, but Hoi An is right outside. Our host, Linh, was one of the loveliest people we’ve met. We really enjoyed spending time together and learning each other’s languages. We feel lucky we got to stay with her.

We only managed two nights at Phuongs homestay, and wished we could've stayed longer. The house is lovely, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It’s close enough to walk into the centre, while being far enough away that the rooms stay quiet at night. What made it special was the host. She was kind and helpful, including with our laundry, and we enjoyed sitting down for coffee and a chat. We got to learn things from a local, and she could practise her English with us. We highly recommend staying here.
