Hoi and his wife started the place about ten years ago after leaving their hotel jobs, and you can feel their experience in the high-end hotel feel at this price. Hoi speaks good English and told us about how they set it up. He was also waiting at the gate of the lovely six-room villa when we arrived after sunset, a lovely welcome to our very short one-night stay. The guesthouse was beautiful and peaceful after the chaotic, somewhat touristy old town. Our spacious room had a relaxing balcony facing the pool and pond. Breakfast was made fresh from an à la carte menu. The bread was warm and perfect with butter and homemade passionfruit jam. We wished we had more time to explore the surrounding area, which has good restaurants nearby, especially tok. Bar and Restaurant. It’s easy to get into the old town by Grab, and this would be a great place for anyone wanting to experience Hoi An beyond the old town.

The garden was peaceful, and we loved watching kingfishers fly over the lake from this beautiful place with its big rooms and nice pool. Vy and his family were kind and helpful with everything from the moment we arrived until we left. We stayed five nights, and the breakfast was amazing, with fresh herbs from their garden. We’d recommend it to all our friends and family.

The hosts were kind and attentive, and helped us arrange an electric scooter so we could explore the area safely and easily with our kids. We felt very well looked after and would come back without hesitation. Pomelo Garden’s green, peaceful nature views were calming from morning to night. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit every day, homemade passion fruit jam, and the best pho we’ve tried anywhere. The coffee was special too, brewed just right from a two-blend.

They went out of their way to make my wife’s birthday special, and were very helpful arranging drop offs, pick ups, and tours. The small group of villas is beautiful, and the included breakfast is delicious. It’s only a short drive from Hoi An’s old quarter.

It’s a lovely, quiet place with a beautiful pool among palm trees and rice paddies. The family running it are incredibly welcoming and happy to go out of their way to help. Breakfast is excellent, with a few choices each morning, plus fresh bread, homemade jam, and fruit platters. The peaceful setting makes it easy to escape Vietnam’s busy streets, but town is still only about a $4 AUD Grab ride away.
