Red House Homestay

The location made getting to both the Old Town and the beach easy, and they provide bicycles for free. It’s a beautiful house with a big garden and plenty of shared space to relax, work, or just hang out. The dorm was comfortable, with very large beds and nice showers, and the place was always clean. You can tell it’s run by a family who really cares about the property. The staff were lovely and ready to answer questions, and the girl at the cafe was especially sweet and friendly. There’s a cafe on-site with great drinks and desserts, plus a delicious breakfast.

We spent four nights at Red house and had a spacious, clean room with a super comfy bed. When I got food poisoning from street food, the hosts were incredibly attentive. They went to the pharmacy for different medicines and made me ginger tea, which I really appreciated. There’s also a very cute Labrador. I couldn’t recommend the place more.

We loved the quiet location, tucked into a local area with lots of nearby cafes and restaurants. The old town and beach are both around 10 to 15 minutes away by bicycle. The guesthouse has its own cute café, with delicious hot and cold drinks, yummy cakes, and a delicious breakfast with several options. My partner and I stayed nearly three months and enjoyed both the room and the studio. The beds were very comfortable, and both spaces were clean and cozy, with views over the pool and a canopy of trees. The family were kind and helpful whenever we needed something, had a question, or wanted to arrange a tour. We’ll definitely come back 😊

I kept extending my stay! For a budget stay in Hoi an, this was perfect, with a pool, hot water, curtains, AC, and free bicycles. The owner was the friendliest and flexible about my early check-in, extensions, and booking shuttles. The coffee shop attached is fantastic too. I had the best matcha of my life there for a great price, especially with the salt foam topping, 1000/10. There isn’t a group chat or organized activities for meeting people, but I chatted with plenty of guests in the rooms, pool, and coffee shop. The location is great, right by the local market, with a straight route into town and to the beach. Thank you for everything!
