Wyndham Hoi An Royal Beachfront Resort & Villas

There was a misunderstanding on our first day, but the Hotel Manager, Mr. Lung, and Mr. Ninh, the Beachfront Restaurant Manager, handled it so well. Their professionalism and kindness turned things around, and I want to especially recognize the staff. It’s a very family-friendly place, and we’d definitely return. The hotel looks just like the photos, truly beautiful. There are two large pools, one right by the beach and the other a little farther back, so guests have a choice. The beachfront is idyllic and great for relaxing. Breakfast was outstanding, with a huge range of food from continental favorites to Vietnamese specialties. The resort also has a gym, two restaurants, poolside bars and a practical on-site shop. Beautiful paintings and other art throughout give it a distinctive feel. I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for high standards and a welcoming atmosphere.

We booked the complimentary shuttle to the old town and airport, and enjoyed the sea view from our balcony. The room was quiet during our stay and everything worked well. It was our first resort with a private beach, and we were very happy with both the pool and beach. It’s a really good deal. At breakfast we especially liked the pho and mini banh mi, and I was surprised they had baristas making lattes, mochas and other drinks. I’d recommend this place to friends.

After our half-day tours, the two pools were just right for unwinding. The resort is spacious but peaceful, with a private white-sand beach and neatly arranged loungers. The main pool is the biggest, while the other sits right in front of the beach. Both have poolside restaurants, handy for a meal or drink in the sun. Our room was very spacious and had ocean views. The food was delicious from breakfast through dinner, and on nights we were too tired to go out, eating by the pool was convenient and enjoyable. The staff were attentive and helped arrange a couple of tours that went smoothly. The gym had what we needed to keep up our fitness routine, and the rejuvenating spa treatments added to the stay. Wyndham Hoi An is an ideal base for relaxation and half-day exploring. Highly recommended.

We’ve had two very long stays at Wyndham Hoi An and will absolutely keep coming back. It’s a perfect place to switch off, while still being a quick, easy ride to Hoi An, An Bang and Da Nang. The rooms are plush, beautifully finished and immediately relaxing, and the breakfast buffet has something delicious for everyone. The people are the real highlight. Everyone was warm and welcoming, from reception and the waiting team to the gardeners. They’re friendly, attentive and always happy to help. Thank you Hue, Quynh, Trang and everyone else for making us feel at home and making my fathers holiday very special.
