The good things first: there was nice hot water, a pleasant river view, and the area just outside the house was peaceful. The building is right in front of the river, with no cafes opposite. It was quiet overall, the family weren't loud, and the distant construction noise wasn't too strong. The rooms need work. The walls were a bit dirty, and I gave cleanliness three stars because there was lots of hair in the bathroom and dust on some surfaces. The room also had a very strong damp or mould smell. There are no noise rules in the building. At night, a woman on the top floor was repeatedly screaming very loudly, even at midnight. Lots of people smoke, so there's a constant smell of smoke around. I feel sorry for the owners when some guests show no respect for the people around them. They should regulate this.

The room is spacious, and the beds are really comfortable. The owner's family are lovely and treat you like family. The beach takes maybe 10 minutes on foot, though riding a bicycle is good too.

It's quiet and peaceful, right across the street from the river. The rooms are nicely equipped, and the beds are very comfortable, which isn't always the case in Vietnamese homestays. You're close to An Bang, the best beach, as well as Cam Chau and its rice paddies, and Old Town. The owner and family are wonderful.

I've visited Vietnam regularly from Australia and always stay here when I come to Hội An. The setting is quiet, and there's a beautiful Art Gallery across the road where you can get hot or cold coffee. It's about 3 minutes to Ang Bang beach and 7 minutes to Old Town. The location and price are wonderful, and the family are lovely and always ready to help. Do yourself a favour and save some money. Enjoy your time in Vietnam.

The view is amazing, and it's a quiet area, though there aren't many good restaurants nearby. The beach is within walking distance. The building has been renovated and feels quite new. We had a little trouble with our first room because all the rain had made it smell like mould. The host kindly offered us another room.
