Roliva Hotel & Apartment Danang

I booked a particular therapist ahead of time, but on arrival was told she was suddenly unavailable. They assigned someone else, who didn’t look like the person in the photos I’d seen. During the session, staff repeatedly offered extra services that weren’t on the official menu and quoted separate prices. I declined politely, and after that the treatment quality and attitude noticeably changed. It felt rushed and unprofessional. The place also seemed disorganized. People argued and came in asking about money while I was there, which made it hard to relax. After this, I can see why there are several negative reviews online. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t return or recommend it to anyone seeking a professional spa experience. I hope management improves transparency, staff training, and professionalism.

We booked a night at the last minute. The quad room was spacious, arranged as two connected rooms: two double beds by the main road and two single beds on the quieter side. There was no one to help with our bags up the entrance steps, and it took the receptionist a while to call someone. The towels had a very strong scent, and the bathroom drained slowly, so water spread toward the sink while we showered. Breakfast wasn’t great either. We went after 9am, and they’d run out of pho without making more. The staff member working breakfast didn’t seem happy to be there. If you’re on a budget and need space for four, it could work, but with so many choices in Danang, we wouldn’t stay again.

Thanks to Roliva for the helpful, welcoming service. We especially liked the terrace and pool area at night. The scooter rental was excellent, with bikes in better condition than the affordable ones we could find elsewhere. We also really appreciated being able to store our luggage for four days while we stayed in hoi an.

I’d tell people to avoid staying here. The rooms don’t look like the pictures, and the bathroom floods every time you shower. On top of that, they charged us for water at checkout, despite claiming it was free. I’ve never encountered that at another hotel in Asia.
