There’s a nice view from the rooftop, but it closes at 9. The rooms are large, clean, and have great views, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was nice and warm, though water ended up everywhere. The pool was good, but seemed a bit outdated with some missing tiles. I was drinking beers by the pool when someone told me I wasn’t supposed to. The staff were nice and friendly.

Royal Ocean is in the same building as Royal Family, on Da Nang’s main drag. Our stay was very short, but the hotel was comfortable, clean, and convenient.

The pool was super clean, and the service was really accommodating. It’s a comfortable place to get some rest, with good vibes in general. The rooms feel about right for the very affordable price.

There’s a real mess at this hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I booked one large bed but was first given a room with two beds, then after two weeks they moved me again to a smaller room with two small beds. During the rainy season the room walls get wet. The training room is dirty, the floors don’t get washed, and nobody seems to care.

I was already searching for another hotel because the room smelled so strongly of mold. The beds were damp, the walls filthy, the fridge didn’t work, and the window lock was broken so it wouldn’t close. It also took them 20 minutes to find our reservation. At 1 am I couldn’t leave right then, but I’ve booked another hotel for the rest of my stay. Absolutely horrid, stay away.
