The coffee was the one disappointment. I didn’t like it at breakfast or from the bar menu, to be blunt. Everything else was excellent. The staff were smiling and proactive from the moment we arrived, and the room looked out over the beautiful pool. It was quiet and peaceful despite Da Nang’s polluted chaos. The room smelled good, was clean and thoughtfully designed, with a nice shower and seemingly endless hot water. The beds were super comfortable, too. Breakfast had tasty options from Asian to Western. Can I give it 10 stars?

We were so touched when Salmalia hotel prepared separate breakfast just for us. We’d mentioned before arriving that, as Muslims, we have dietary restrictions and the buffet could be tricky, but we hadn’t expected them to do that. Thank you for being so thoughtful. The staff were always warm and smiling, and helped us with a bunch of requests. We had the most pleasant stay in Danang and recommend the hotel to Malaysians.

Our three-year-old son was given one of the hotel’s cute Christmas tree decorations, and it’s now on our tree back home in the UK. Such a lovely memory from our five-night November stay at Salmalia. The room was spacious and very clean, and we found plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The beach was a short walk away. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, and we had a wonderful stay.

We had a genuinely warm, great experience during our week in Da Nang. The hotel was clean, the rooms were big, and it was close to the beach without being too crowded. The staff helped me with several things, and I can’t thank them enough. They arranged a birthday cake, surprised us with a welcome gift, gave us a discount on our drive to Ha Noi, and always greeted us with big smiles. One staff member also gave my wife a birthday gift. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calmer, welcoming stay.

Even staying in, you can have a great time here, especially enjoying the swimming pool. The hotel is beautiful, well located, and the service was excellent. Staff were very friendly, and all the services were available and on time. A wonderful experience.
