The hosts were so warm and kind. Our room was spotless and nicely organized, with a cozy, minimal, modern design that we loved as soon as we walked in. We were only stopping in Da Nang briefly and picked this place because of its great reviews. It lived up to them, and is definitely worth a stay! 🥰🫰🏼

The doors, at least the one to my room, didn't lock. They ignored my message about it and only changed the lock after I tracked them down. That was one part of a stay that left me feeling deeply unsafe. I can't recommend this hotel to travelers who care about their safety. The owners always smiled and seemed polite, but something about their behavior felt off. Twice, someone came into my room without permission. The first time was an afternoon about a week before I left. Loud knocking woke me up, and before I could get dressed and answer, a worker had let herself in with two officers. They asked for my passport and took a picture of it. I googled it afterward and saw that checking guests this way is routine in the country, though I couldn't understand why they'd enter when I hadn't answered. Would they have gone through my things looking for my passport, come in while I was in the bathroom, or done this while I was out? When I asked, she just said, “we were knocking and we didn’t get an answer, sorry”. Make of that what you will. I should've left then. The next incident, the day before I left, was much worse. I woke to more loud knocking and messaged to ask if someone was at the door, but got no immediate answer. I planned to go shopping, so I got in the shower. They never respond to my messages anyway. While I was showering, the owner came into my room. I heard the door open, turned off the water right away, and saw them standing in front of the bathroom entrance. They wouldn't leave, just stared at me. I've never felt so violated or humiliated. I yelled and shut the bathroom door until they went away. About 20 minutes later, after I found the courage to come out and reach my phone, I saw a message. They'd never replied to my earlier messages, but now said the owner had made a dessert and wanted to share it. Really? Do they bring treats to all their guests, or only women traveling alone? If I don't answer the door, you have to assume I'm away or busy. What was the intention in coming into the room? Could they have left the dessert on the counter for me, or did they want to spoon-feed me in the shower? Something is clearly strange here. Please, please, please, please, please, please don't say no one warned you. If they respond, they'll probably say they just wanted to give me dessert, and won't explain why they entered a guest's room when they thought I wasn't there. Not safe, beware. At the very least, get a portable door locker. The first time, they'd knocked and got no answer. The second, they entered while I was in the shower, with no permission either.

I found the place on booking.com, and it was a great find. The family running it were incredibly kind and did whatever they could to help. I arrived at 4 o’clock in the morning and they accommodated the check-in. It rained throughout my stay, otherwise I would have stayed longer. Even with the weather, the family helped make sure I had a good time and got to my next location. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. If you want somewhere budget friendly, safe, with AC and reliable Internet, this is it!

I was here for a couple of months, and the location was perfect. The rooms had everything I needed, and it was really quiet, which I appreciated with all the construction work happening in Da Nang. The owners were friendly and helpful, and would sometimes let you taste their home cooking. Thanks again!

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room itself was clean and well equipped, and the hosts were friendly. There are cafes and shops a few minutes away, and the location was fine. Construction was happening, but it wasn't very frequent or very loud, and nights were quiet. The internet worked pretty well, though I didn't use it all the time. The balcony was the reason we chose this room, so it was disappointing that the AC leaked onto it and we could hardly use it. The leak also brought lots of insects inside and out, and we had to keep the door shut. It would be nice if they fixed that. Despite those minor issues, I don't regret staying here.
