The reception staff were sweet, and the location was lovely, but our room was really dirty. There were bits of trash left around, the toilet smelled like urine, and we had no windows. There were stickers everywhere listing the cost of each little item if lost, even the disposable plastic comb in its wrapper, which didn’t make the place feel welcoming. The worst part was the laundry. We paid 100k, but our shirts and socks were still dirty. Everything had been crammed into the basket without folding and came back wrinkled. Some pieces were so dirty that we wondered if they’d left items out to fit one machine, which might also explain the poor wash. Very disappointing.

After a seven-hour bus trip, we arrived for the two rooms we’d booked online three weeks earlier. They couldn’t find our booking, even though we showed them the details, and had no rooms available. They also couldn’t compensate us for the money and stress.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great, about a five-minute walk from the beach with food, shops, minimarts, and cafes nearby. My room was nice and clean. The shower had very hot water, the air conditioner worked well, and I even turned it off because it got too cold for me. The Wi-Fi worked too.

There’s very little natural light in the room, the Wi-Fi is weak, and the beds are hard. Noise from other guests carries badly, so don’t be surprised if you’re woken up repeatedly at 5, 6, or 7 am. The basics were okay: the rooms were clean, the AC worked, and the bathroom was decent. After that, things went downhill.

They offer ordinary rooms at competitive prices, then a couple of weeks later, when they think they could charge more, they try to get you to cancel the booking. An old trick. Total cheats, best avoided.
