The shared spaces looked beautiful, and the staff were very nice, but I couldn't sleep or breathe comfortably in the family suite. There was mold in the air, on surfaces, in the shower, and around the ventilation and AC. I spent one night there and wouldn't consider it safe for a family with kids. The room also looked nothing like the photos, with old furniture covered in scratches, and there was noise from kids in the hallway and from early morning onward. The room I had the night before was much better. Mold was limited to the bathroom, and the street-facing room may have had better airflow. I didn't tell the staff because this seemed like neglect that had been going on for months, not a cleaning issue that appeared overnight. Other reviews made it seem they already knew. I stayed at four hotels over ten days, and this was the worst. I wouldn't recommend it.

There was no hot water that night or the next morning, which made the stay especially inconvenient. The room also felt shabby and neglected: its cabinets were chipped, crooked, and looked close to falling apart. The bathroom had grime and visible mold around the sink and basin, and more mold along the shower door edges. The fittings looked neglected too. The towels were old and stained, so I questioned whether they were clean. These are basic hygiene and maintenance issues, and I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the room. Every guest deserves a clean, comfortable space at any price. I hope management takes steps to address these problems for future guests. My experience was far from satisfactory.

The rooms advertised as 35 sqm felt smaller, and the bathroom was so cramped that everyday use was awkward. The kitchenette was worn and didn't look thoroughly cleaned between guests. Unfortunately, in this area, kitchenettes often seem overused and poorly maintained, so they're a questionable amenity. The biggest issue is the musty mold smell in the middle and rear rooms, where ventilation is very poor. Da Nang's humidity makes it especially uncomfortable to stay there for long. If you choose Fanta Suite Villa for its price or location, ask for a room at the front and keep expectations modest. Otherwise, I'd look at more modern or better maintained places nearby.

I booked the apartment through Airbnb for a month because the photos made it look perfect. The AC smells really bad, and there’s a lot of mold in the bathroom. It looks like someone tried to scrape it off, but it’s still there. I asked the host if I could check out and get a refund for the remaining days. I even offered $200 for the one night so I could get the rest refunded, but they wouldn't agree. Now I'm stuck here.

I lived here for more than a year and was happy with everything. It’s quiet, just a few steps from the beach, and close to restaurants, a gym, a market, and shops. The landlord and staff were always helpful. Thank you, Fanta Suite Villa 👌
