The river views are lovely, and it's an easy 15 to 20 minute walk to the main sights and restaurants. We enjoyed exploring at an unhurried pace, and I'd stay here again and recommend it. The welcome from the staff stood out, especially Linh. She was remarkably thoughtful and attentive, suggested a great local tailor for custom suits and trousers, and arranged discounted tickets to an entertainment venue nearby that we really enjoyed. That kind of personal service made our stay feel special.

Linh made me feel welcome right away and was so kind, with great suggestions for things to do. She also arranged reasonably priced rides from the airport and to my next hotel in Da Nang, and was ready to help with anything. Blue River's room was comfortable and the facilities were well kept. It's a bit outside the old town center, which meant a quieter stay. Bicycles are available, though I found it walkable and got to the old town in about 18-20 minutes.

The hotel is far enough from Hoi An's busiest streets to feel peaceful, but getting to the central area is still easy. Linh was especially helpful and friendly, sharing recommendations and making sure everything was taken care of. She made the stay feel personal. My room was clean, comfortable, and lovely, and the WiFi worked really well the whole time. I had a great visit and would happily recommend the Hoi A Blue River Hotel.

Lihn made our stay especially good, with helpful local tips and great suggestions for trips. We took her advice and did a cooking class and coconut boat with Sam and Tony. It was a brilliant day, definitely a must! The hotel is right by the river, with large, very clean rooms and a nice balcony.

I don't understand why this place gets such good reviews. The room was neither clean nor well maintained, with mold stains on the pillows and walls. When I raised it, the staff didn't seem very concerned and simply reset the room after I chose to leave. At least they let me cancel without a charge.
