Shining Riverside Hoi An Boutique and Spa

I’ve been visiting hoi an for six years, and this was my first stay at the shining. We usually book at the bel marina, but wanted to try another area. Trang made such a difference with her kind, professional, attentive help. She went well beyond what we expected, and she’s the reason I’d come back. Since I’m vegan, she arranged a fresh breakfast for me each morning. She was always ready to help and really felt like the face of the hotel. She was a real star.

Tran was lovely and answered all our questions, and the quick check-in came with lots of useful information. It’s an easy walk to Hoi An market and plenty of restaurants. Laundry was simple to arrange, and the cocktail hour was a nice touch. Our family had a delightful stay here. It’s affordable, and I’d highly recommend it.

Ái was especially helpful in pointing us toward things to do and planning each day, and the whole staff were friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our five nights at the Shining Riverside Hotel. It’s by the river, with lovely rice paddy views, and our poolside room was peaceful with a sunrise view each morning. The hotel is close to Hoi An’s Old Town and within walking distance of the Hoi An Memory Show. The property is spotless and thoughtfully laid out, with cozy spots to sit for coffee, a drink, or a meal. We loved spending time by the pool in the sunshine. Breakfast had a good variety that changed each morning, with Vietnamese dishes and Western choices like made-to-order eggs, bacon, sausages, and cereal. We’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An.

The staff were so attentive and helpful, and made sure we got out of the hotel safely during the recent heavy flooding. One of them stayed with us until we reached our taxi. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend it. The Shining Riverside Hotel Hoi An is gorgeous, with plenty of space and an attractive pool and garden. We also enjoyed the excellent massage, the very good breakfast selection, and a delicious dinner in the restaurant.
