The day before check-in, I went back and heard the same thing: “No, no rooms.” This was after I’d already visited a few days earlier, when the man at reception wouldn’t speak English and kept saying it in Vietnamese. I’d booked through Booking.com, and both the site and the hotel only sent copy-paste or chatbot replies saying the booking was confirmed and the staff spoke English well. Nobody gave me a real answer. Booking.com also insisted the reservation was confirmed and said I’d owe the first night if I cancelled. Total nonsense.

It took 13 calls to get an answer about my OYO app booking, and when someone finally picked up, they were rude and practically begged me for a room. Terrible experience, and that one star is deserved. This feels like a scam aimed at ripping off tourists. 🙄

The booking went through, but when I arrived, the man there learned what price I’d booked at and rudely said every room was taken. I’d spoken to him politely, but his attitude was hostile. Terrible, one star.
