I recommend checking on the construction before booking, especially if you’re sensitive to noise or need dependable sleep. There was an active site right beside the building, and the listing didn’t mention it. The first night, work carried on through the night. Night two was quieter, and I slept most of it, but heavy activity returned on the third, with concrete trucks, pumps, and machinery going until about 4:00 am. The sound came straight through the limited insulation and made sleeping very difficult. The accommodation itself was otherwise acceptable, but the nighttime noise seriously affected rest and comfort. I’m attaching photos and videos to document what was happening.

The receptionist was very nice and friendly, which was the one good thing. The place smelled so bad I couldn’t sleep, and the towels and linens were stained, a disgusting gray. The toilet was so dirty it felt like using a public restroom. Though it’s an apartment, the dishes were old and greasy, and there was only one saucepan. The location also felt strange, with just a couple of cafes nearby, and it’s a long way from the city. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I got such a good sleep because the room was clean and comfy. They even moved me to their best room. I think I may have been the only person there, since I saw nobody during check-in or checkout, but staying alone didn’t feel creepy at all. The hotel was super clean and really good. Friends, please come stay here!

It’s a little far from the city centre, but you can rent a motorbike here and ride wherever you want. The owner was nice and cute, and I had a good experience. Tan Tra beach is nearby, about five minutes away, so try to catch the dawn if you can. Hoi An and Quang Nam are close too.

I came back during Tết after moving out, because the owner’s family really makes me feel like I’m part of theirs. They’re great, friendly people, and staying with them feels like being at home. The service is excellent, and the accommodation is right next to the beach.
