Clean rooms and a good hostel in a nice location, right in the middle of everything.

The owner was so helpful with everything, even getting me a discount at the massage place down the road. The massage place was excellent, and I liked that it was for women only. The accommodation was very clean and great value for money. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a budget stay close to the beach, and I'd stay again.

We were supposed to stay at Cát house, but when we arrived nobody was there and the house was under construction. We called the owner, who sent us to this address for Talofofo hostel. The rooms here were clean and the location was good. I give it three stars, too, because they eventually sent my passport to our next destination. We stayed four nights, and two of them were terribly noisy around 1-2 am. We woke several times to people yelling on the stairs, and could hear every door shut and lock. At arrival, a staff member took my passport and forgot to return it when we left. I forgot to check too, so that part was partly my fault, but staff should remember to give guests their things at checkout. We did laundry on the last day. The woman forgot to return our socks, then gave them back clean but wet when we asked. They still charged 40.000 vnd for the wash despite the mistake. Owner, please let guests know in advance if your hostel can't take them, and tell them where to go.

Drilling started behind the wall as early as 6am, and the room had no plugs or bedside lamps. Traveling around Vietnam, this was probably the worst hostel we've stayed in.
