The Linh Homestay

We could see the football field from our window, and the homestay street was lovely and peaceful. The location is well connected: Grab cars are right outside, supermarkets are nearby, and the old town, Tra que, Cam thanh, An bang beach, and Hoi An memories land are all close. There's a lot to see and do around here. The hosts and staff were polite and helpful, and the host family took great care of us and made sure we had no problems. Our family had a wonderful stay, the best place we've stayed on this Vietnam trip. We're grateful and highly recommend it.

It's an easy, flat walk to cafes and places to eat, and free bikes are available for getting around town. The three-level place has a quaint feel and was very clean. My 30m2 room was spacious, with a ranchslider opening onto a deck overlooking the pretty soccer fields. There were two fresh bottles of water each day, a comfy bed, air conditioning, a fan, a fridge/freezer, and a 30" TV with English channels. The private bathroom had a glass divider between the toilet and shower, which was better than in many other rooms we saw. Excellent value at this very low price.

One of the family members chatted with us using a translator and happily asked where we were headed next. They also do laundry for 30k per kg, and brought it back in a clean plastic basket. The homestay is cosy, in a quiet neighbourhood, and very good value. The floor was clean, with shoes left at the entrance. I liked the comfortable, spacious room and its wooden feel. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

I watched locals playing ball on the football pitch from my room. The rooms were great, very clean, and had plenty of amenities. For such a nice room, it was really cheap.
