The restaurant staff were the best, and the location was great. But hotel bookings and AirB&B bookings are handled separately, which means a separate daily service charge to use the pool and gym. There’s no separate outdoor smoking area either, so the smell of smoke is often around. The rooms aren’t really set up for a long stay, with no drawers for clothes. The kitchens are poorly equipped, at best.

Please pick somewhere else to stay. I live here long term, and it was okay until about a month ago. Prices have gone up, and we spent nearly a month without internet. Construction has made it extremely noisy. Using the swimming pool now costs $10 per person every time. Parking may close very soon. Whole floors and areas are being privatized, leaving no access to the gym, coworking space, laundry, and other facilities. One elevator is out, so the only one left takes ages and is always overcrowded. What is going on?

Breakfast was a highlight, with a different traditional Vietnamese noodle dish each day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d highly recommend the hotel. It’s very close to the beach, just across the street. I chose a room with lovely views of the East Vietnam sea, the western cityscape, and the Han River. The sunsets were breathtaking. Unfortunately, the pool and rooftop were closed during my visit, which was a letdown.
