Tropical Dorm Hostel Da Nang by Haviland

Sani and I stayed for five nights, 17 - 22 May 2026, and were very happy here. The room and facilities were great and clean, and the rooftop pool was amazing. Breakfast was simple, healthy, and yummy. I loved the fruit juice. One suggestion: please add more chicken or beef, since some guests don't eat pork. All the staff were so warm and treated us like family, including the people we met while they cleaned our room. TUYEN, DAN, ZOEY WINNIE, HAN TRAM VAN were friendly, helpful, honest, and sincere. DAN from Security was especially kind and always helped us. We will come back one day and recommend SeaHorse by Natalie to our friends visiting Da Nang. Bless all of you at SeaHorse. I ended up extending my stay by two nights because it felt as comfy as home. The atmosphere was super chill, and the common areas were cozy. The room was simple but thoughtfully set up, and everything was clean and well kept, so I could drop my bags and relax right away. The team were lovely and went out of their way to make things easy. Ms. Uyên, Thư at reception, and Mr. Dan from security were especially kind and helpful. It felt like having local friends looking out for me. There are lots of food spots within walking distance, plus a gym and local markets nearby. Great value for money. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Danang who wants somewhere comfortable, friendly, and easygoing.

The people here made the whole stay memorable and special. Every guest seemed to love the security guard, who was warm, kind, and always looking out for everyone with such positive energy. The whole staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile and make people feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, fresh, comfortable, and well maintained every day. Coming back to the room was relaxing. This was one of the best travel stays I've had, and I would 100% return.

Mr Tuyen really stood out. He looks after guests' bags and luggage, and welcomes and sends you off with such a sweet smile. It left a lovely impression. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the shower pressure was great, although one day there wasn't any hot water. Soundproofing wasn't good, and there were some mosquitoes. I would've preferred a place near the beach, so this location wasn't my favorite. There is a nice grocery bodega next door, though. I used Grab a lot because the nearby streets felt a bit hectic for walking. Overall, the stay was okay.
