K-House Vs Apartment

The staff really impressed me with their kindness and respect for guests and for each other. The location is great, and there was no construction nearby, even though new hotels are going up along the street. The rooms are very large, and breakfast was simple but delicious. My main issue was a strong mold smell. The internal air-conditioning needs cleaning, and lemongrass spray might help with the odor. It's also used for long-term stays, so it could suit someone hoping to negotiate a longer booking.

Just a couple of minutes around the corner from the lovely My Khe beach, this is a really nice boutique-style hotel. It's stylish and tasteful without being overdone. The breakfasts were very good, with plenty of choice for different tastes, and the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

The cafe attached to the hotel had calming decor and was good, but breakfast itself was quite limited. The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful, though the rooms were in poor condition. There were ants in the bathrooms, mold or damp spots on the ceiling, and a horrible mildew smell that stayed even with the windows open or the air-conditioning on. The shower room had poor ventilation. Its window didn't help much, and leaving it open let in mosquitos. The toilet was behind a glass door that didn't give proper privacy, which was especially difficult when I had food poisoning. The mattress and pillows were so hard that my partner and I woke with back and neck pain every day. They couldn't offer a different kind of pillow, so for the last two nights we stuffed clothes into the pillowcases. We kept waking in the night from the discomfort and dampness. K house might be worth it if the price were significantly lower.

The breakfast was great, with lots of choices from Western to Asian food. The staff were super nice, and when there was a slight humid smell in the apartment, they quickly put an aroma diffuser inside to fix it. We really appreciated the care and attention to detail, and we'll definitely be back.
