The rooms are good, but the breakfast items aren’t described in detail, so it’s hard for vegetarians to tell what’s meat-free. The reception area’s AC also wasn’t working at night. It was almost impossible to understand the waiters and attendants without knowing the local language, so they should have a little more English.

The location close to the beach is excellent, though construction nearby and street noise can be disruptive. I’d pick a room at the back to avoid more of that noise. The hotel feels a bit dated, but it’s clean and comfortable, and the service is basic but good. Breakfast was okay, also basic, and the breakfast room had little or no air conditioning. The pool is tiny but fine. For the price, it’s reasonable.

We canceled our reservation and went to another hotel after the check-in went so badly. The receptionist couldn’t speak English and struggled with how Booking.com reservations worked, so we couldn’t communicate or finish checking in. She tried Google Translate, but it was set to Spanish. When I asked for English, she shouted at me. For a hotel featured on Booking, that’s a major front desk problem, and shouting at guests is unacceptable. The receptionist needs to be replaced.

Even though our Booking.com reservation was confirmed, reception said there was no booking. The receptionist had trouble with the computer and Booking.com system, and communication was difficult too. We asked for an English translation but were shown other languages instead. She spoke to us by shouting, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. It made for a poor experience, and reception needs to provide more respectful service.

The room has a palace-like interior, and the rooftop swimming pool is a nice feature for couples. It’s also an easy walk to the beach, so Tuyet Son Hotel worked really well for us.
