We had dinner at the Yellow Bicycle three times because we enjoyed it so much. Duyen gave excellent service at the restaurant. The breakfast had a great range of Vietnamese dishes, and the amenities were excellent too. I used the free bicycles to explore the pedestrian-friendly islands, and the pool was well appointed. Moire Hoi An is conveniently situated across the river from the Old Town, and we had a great time there.

The main issue for us was at check-in: the hotel asked for my wife’s email, then a few days later she got a notice that she’d been signed up for IHG reward without consenting. A manager assisted us, which made it feel especially unprofessional. The other staff were kind, though, including the groundskeeper who always greeted us warmly. I’d return, but hope the hotel fixes this. The hotel is a bridge away from the old city, and our recently renovated room felt modern and was spotless, even underneath the bed. Housekeeping came twice a day. Breakfast was okay, and the salted coffee was fantastic. The pool was a relaxing place to cool off on hot days. We tried Yellow bike cycle, but found it overpriced and not very good. I’d skip that restaurant, since there’s better, cheaper food across the bridge.

We were very happy with our choice and loved the stay. Rin, who served breakfast, was especially good, both professional and personable. The morning meal itself was a favorite. The rooms feel modern, and the facilities are fabulous, with phenomenal service and an excellent location. It does cost more, but we thought it was worth it.

We spent a lovely honeymoon at Moire in Hoi an. Rin guided our sunset tour and made it great with his kindness, effort, and lovely personality. The staff were very helpful and kind, and we also enjoyed the good breakfast and nice pool.
