Wafaifo Resort Hoi An

The staff made this stay feel special, from the room cleaners and reception, especially Nee, to the bar team, Hung and Phu, and the restaurant staff, Lucia, Hui, Hein, Dieu, Jen and Vincent. Hoi was a wonderful driver, and Tung, Angela and Knoc were terrific leaders. Lucia (Tam) and Tung deserve a special mention for the care they gave us and the resort. Everyone was so friendly, and their attention to detail was on another level. The rooms were lovely and the beds comfortable. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, especially the Vietnamese dishes like Bahn Xeo and Cao Lau. The resort’s location was wonderful, and the free shuttles to the beach, with loungers and umbrellas, and to Old Town were handy. Old Town was also just a short walk away.

The team is what we’ll remember most. Chloe at the kids club was patient and kind while we did crafts, and Eww at Xua and Nay was so attentive and patient with our children. Hoi, who drove us from the airport, was great too. We were a family of four staying five nights, and the place never felt overcrowded. The buffet was a highlight, and having somewhere to properly wind down after the busy streets was just what we needed. The location gave us some distance from the intensity of Old Town, with marts and chemists nearby. We used the Grab app for regular beach trips, which was really easy with kids. The rooms were good, although a few things needed maintenance. Ground floor rooms also have nowhere to hang wet swimsuits. We’ll miss the staff. Thanks for a good stay!

Ngọc and Hợp did a great job planning and running our 10-year-old’s birthday party. The kids loved the salt pool, theater and little playground, and there was fun happening the whole time. The food and setup impressed all our guests: live BBQ, free-flow drinks, burgers, nuggets, pizza and fries, plus a lovely cake and ice cream for the children. They even made the pizza crust with their own sourdough and put up balloons spelling my son’s name. Great food, atmosphere, service and facilities. Highly recommend it for a party!

I stayed for a month and the time flew by. The rooms were comfortable, well looked after and thoughtfully laid out, and Duc and his team made guests feel genuinely valued. There’s a large saltwater pool, a modern gym, a stylish pool bar and good restaurants on site. The wellness center was a standout for me, with a hyperbaric chamber, ice bath, float pod and infrared sauna. A really enjoyable, seamless stay, and I’d recommend it for a relaxing luxury break.
