White Sand Boutique Hotel

The location is very convenient for the beach, just a short walk from My Khe Beach, with plenty of cafes, convenience stores, and spas nearby. My stay at White Sands Boutique Hotel was comfortable overall and reasonably priced for a mid-range place in Da Nang. The room was clean and functional, and housekeeping was consistent. The hotel feels a little older than some nearby properties, and though the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, I could hear hallway noise at times because my room was close to the elevators. I had made specific requests in advance and followed up twice, but they weren't granted, which was disappointing. Staff were polite and helpful when approached. Breakfast had enough variety to start the day, though it wasn't especially memorable. Better attention to guest requests and soundproofing would make the experience better.

The rooms were a good size and the price was good by Western standards. Checkout went smoothly, and they seemed to have stopped checking rooms before letting guests leave. But the bathroom layout was odd, with the shower over a large bath right beside the windows, and the roller blinds were covered in mould. The walls did little to block noise from neighboring rooms. Breakfast might suit some people, but it wasn't for me. Our booking included a free one-way airport transfer, but they only partly honored it. They said there was just one transfer per booking, although we'd booked four rooms. I also didn't encounter the friendly front desk staff others mentioned.

The room was cozy and nice, and housekeeping came every day. Breakfast was good each morning, with a variety of main dishes. I just wish there were an outdoor pool. Thanks to receptionists Ellie & Addie, we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Tom's driving and warm, easygoing manner made every trip comfortable and stress-free. He picked me up from the airport right on time, drove me safely to Hoi An and Ba Na Hills, and took me on a few other errands. Everything was seamless and well organized, and we chatted like friends the whole way, which made the rides feel shorter and more memorable. He's professional, reliable, friendly, and welcoming. The receptionists were always helpful and approachable, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel's service exceeded my expectations throughout my stay. Highly, highly recommended!
