Wink Danang Riverside, Unscripted by Hyatt - 24 Hours stay

The social spaces made the hotel feel relaxed and welcoming, with room to unwind, work, or meet other travelers. It seems a good fit for solo travelers and couples alike. Staff were friendly and ready to help, and check-in and checkout were quick and smooth. The rooms are compact but comfortable, with thoughtful use of space and everything needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy, the shower pressure was great, and everything felt clean and well maintained. The modern design was a plus. Right by the river, the hotel has lovely views, especially at night when the city lights reflect on the water. Cafes, restaurants, and key attractions are close, so exploring is easy. Wink Riverside Hotel offers great value, and I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Da Nang.

The location is so convenient, with shops, massage and nail places, and restaurants all nearby. Getting a ride through the Grab app is easy, too. Staff throughout the hotel were lovely and accommodating. The rooms are a good size, some have kitchenettes, and the king beds are comfortable. The river view is really relaxing, and I enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. Breakfast is included in the buffet, with something tasty for everyone. I have celiac disease and ate there without any problems. Highly recommend it, and I’d definitely stay again!

We chose this lovely hotel partly because we wanted to spend most of the afternoon at the pool. We’d booked a few months ahead, but nobody told us the pool area would be closed for a private function from 3pm until the following afternoon. We also saw some small children crying after being turned away from the pool. The hotel is right on the Han River, and the staff were great. Still, the pool was one of the reasons we booked, so the planning felt poor. It would be helpful to let guests know about closures before they book.

The pool/snooker table in the lobby wasn’t usable, with just one cue stick and no chalk. Breakfast also had very few vegetarian choices, and there wasn’t a staff member readily available to help or guide us. Our room felt cramped because it was extremely small, and there was a noticeable bad smell. It didn’t have a kettle or complimentary tea or coffee, basic things I’d expect at a hotel in this category. The tap and health faucet gave out boiling hot water all day, even when set to cold, which was inconvenient and could be unsafe. My stay at Wink Hotel by Hyatt fell short of the expectations I associate with the Hyatt brand. Several basic facilities and service standards need significant improvement.
