Le Macaron Boutique Hotel

The location made getting around easy, with lots of good food and coffee spots close by and a walk downhill to the city center. We didn’t need Grab. The staff were so helpful and friendly, gave us great recommendations, and did one load of laundry for free. They even left us a small handwritten note when we departed. I liked the place enough to think about extending our stay. The room was beautiful and very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but that had been clearly stated in the description. A fan was plenty, since Da Lat cools off nicely in the evenings. This was easily our best stay among the hotels and homestays on our trip through South and Central Vietnam.

The staff were the best part, helpful and attentive from the start, happy to answer all my questions and share useful information about what the city offers. The hotel itself was spotless, centrally located, and reasonably priced for the quality. I liked the thoughtful decor and details, and the bed was very comfortable by Western standards. From the third floor there was a great view over the city. Stepping outside, there were bars and restaurants across the street, and I rented a scooter successfully from a good spot a little farther up the hill. I’d definitely book again if I’m back in town.

We enjoyed opening the balcony door to let in the Da Lat breeze. It’s in a great spot, within walking distance of busy areas, with lots of cool cocktail bars on the street. Such a wonderful experience, we’ll come back.

We had a great stay at Le Macaron Boutique Hotel. The rooms are clean and charming, though on the small side. Bathrooms are compact too, and might not suit larger guests.
